Another busy week! Some work done today in Seomra na Gréine. The teddies had their own picnic in Seomra Bóin dé. The children enjoyed their picnic! Have a lovely weekend everyone, see you next week for our last few days!

Téama faoin bhfarraige, Under the Sea

Hi all this week we had an under the sea theme finished with superhero day ! We made some cute sea turtles and colourful jellyfish🪼. We had a very messy sea themed sensory play with blue jelly and crushed Rice Krispies. We finished up with superhero day by making superhero theme initials. Have a lovely weekend ☀️

A very busy week this week. The children in Seomra Bóin dé have been learning their shapes and colours and made a book. We also had some handpainting in their scrapbooks and some threading too. Seomra na Gréine have been learning all about the river and the animals. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Hi all We have been having lots of fun learning about our fruit and Vegetables.🍎🫐🍎 The children have explored different methods of creating art, including printing with bubble wrap and using food as stampers. We have made smoothies and played guess the food games. We created fun food work sheets for the children to practice pencil control and introduced scissors work to strengthen our coordination and concentration. We are learning a new circle time song also.

Healthy Eating and Arts and Crafts

This week at Global Garden we continued healthy eating, we made some healthy carrots and broccoli, we made a food pyramid together discussing the healthy options and not so health options. We also enjoy making some fruit bowls with playdough. Next week we contine with healthy eating and healthy hygiene practices.

First week back!

Lovely first week back, we introduced our Healthy eating theme, lots of discussions on what's healthy and what is not, this week for craft we painted some pineapples, our own fruit bowls and enjoyed some sticking and gluing. Some of our older group enjoyed cutting activities. Great fun, games and exercise in the hall this week also.
