Healthy Eating and Arts and Crafts
This week at Global Garden we continued healthy eating, we made some healthy carrots and broccoli, we made a food pyramid together discussing the healthy options and not so health options. We also enjoy making some fruit bowls with playdough. Next week we contine with healthy eating and healthy hygiene practices.
First week back!
Lovely first week back, we introduced our Healthy eating theme, lots of discussions on what's healthy and what is not, this week for craft we painted some pineapples, our own fruit bowls and enjoyed some sticking and gluing. Some of our older group enjoyed cutting activities. Great fun, games and exercise in the hall this week also.

Christmas Fun at Global Garden

Greystones First Responders
Super grateful to Greystones first responders this evening. Thry came out to our Creche to train our team in all four of our locations on first aid practices. This is training on top of the training we normally do for certification. We’re so lucky to have Sam on our team who is a first responder and kindly set it up for us. ❤️
Under the Sea and Teddy Bear Picnic
Busy week with our Under the sea project, we had so much fun! We also had an amazing teddy bears picnic
Learning CPR in Global Garden
Today Sam came to visit us who is in first responders, she taught us to do CPR, we learned how to place our hands at the important point and push hard and fast, and that only to be done in emergencies
Global Garden Hospital
Lots of fun and excitement last week at Global garden, not one but two very special visitors dropped in to chat to us. We started our day getting kitted out as mini surgeons and helping poor Ted get better. Many thanks to one of our dads for chatting to us about his important job at the hospital. After snack we had a surprise visit from our local community garda, they spoke to us about their job keeping us all safe.
Space and the Solar System
Global garden learning about the solar system planets and space. We enjoyed the Den we all helped make where we could go and look up at the stars and planets.
National Earth Day
Global garden supported National Earth day last week and we learnt about ways we can protect our planet, reduce, recycle, reuse. We also enjoyed some great sensory play with water and playdough.
